We believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God. We affirm that though written by men, the Old and New Testaments were supernaturally inspired by the Holy Spirit, so that they are not the words of men, but the Word of God. It is completely authoritative in all matters (Psalm 119:105; Romans 15:4; 2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Timothy 3:16-17).
We believe that there is one God who reveals Himself in three distinct Persons: Father,
Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1; 1:26-27; 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Isaiah 40:28-29; John 14:7-16; 2
Corinthians 13:14; 1 Peter 1:2).
We believe that Jesus Christ is God’s one and only Son. We affirm His virgin
birth, victorious life, vicarious death, victorious resurrection and look forward to His visible return. We believe that Jesus is the only way of salvation and that all who are willing to turn from their sin and place their faith in Jesus Christ alone will be saved (Matthew 1:22-23; John 1:105; Acts 1:90-11; Romans 1:3-4; 1 Corinthians 15:3-5; 1 Timothy 6:14-15; Titus 2:13; Hebrews 4:14-15).
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. He is the divine helper,
counselor, and teacher. His work is to reveal Christ and lead sinners to repentance. His work is to convict, guide, comfort, strengthen, and sanctify believers (John 16:7-13; Acts1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12; 3:16; Galatians 5:25; Ephesians 1:13; 5:25).
We believe that human beings are God’s special creation created in His image. The first man, Adam, damaged that image through his sin and as a result all mankind are sinners in need of God’s forgiveness (Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6; 59:1-2; Romans 3:23).
We believe that forgiveness for our sin is available to all through Jesus Christ
alone. We believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sin and those who repent of their sin and place their faith in Jesus Christ will be saved. Every person who is truly saved is eternally secure and will spend eternity in heaven, while those who reject Jesus Christ will spend eternity in hell (John 14:6; Romans 5:1; 6:23; Galatians 3:26; Titus 3:5).
We believe that baptism is by immersion after salvation. It is done in obedience to the command of Jesus Christ and is a symbolic representation of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Matthew 3:15-17; Acts 2:38).
We believe that the church is a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ. The
purpose of the church is to worship the Lord Jesus Christ, learn how to walk as a child of God, and bear witness to others about the saving power of Jesus Christ. Ultimately, the church is meant to bring glory to God the Father.
